Ariana Grande confirms her next single is “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored.”

The song was recently registered to a music publishing site, and it shed light on info you need to know.

Several pop music heavy-hitters are responsible for its creation. Max Martin, who’s one of… if not the most critically acclaimed producers in the industry, helped craft the new tune. As did Grammy award winning singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss (Real Housewives of Atlanta) and Savan Kotecha. Like Max, Kotecha collaborated with Ariana on some of her biggest hits, including “No Tears Left To Cry” and “God is a Woman.”

What’s most interesting about “Break Up With Your Girlfriend” besides the fact it’s probably a mf anthem is it reportedly samples *NSYNC’s No Strings Attached album track, “It Makes Me Ill.” That song is a bop.

Ariana told fans it’s the next official release. The music video drops Friday (Feb. 8).

It’s worth mentioning three other songs popped up on that same music publishing website. They are “Fake Smile,” which samples Wendy Rene’s “After Laughter Comes Tears” and co-written by Justin Tranter, and “In My Head.” They appear on Ariana’s Thank U, Next tracklist.

There’s also a preview of “Breakup” available to stream. The clip doesn’t feature the alleged *NSYNC sample, but it sounds dreamy!
