Ally Brooke unleashed her debut solo single, “Low Key,” featuring Tyga, and it’s a bop.

From what I’ve gathered, the Internet has a soft spot for Ally. After Fifth Harmony dissolved, people pit the ladies against one another, and it felt like a race to see who could release solo music the fastest. Ally took her time, and it certainly paid off. The singer’s new single, “Low Key,” is a guilty pleasure.

“Low key low key you should really get to know me,” Brooke croons over a tango-inspired, syrupy mid-tempo beat. I’ll get attacked for this, but it’s reminiscent of Camila Cabello’s “Havana.” Regardless, the vibe is infectious, and I look forward to the moment I find myself unconsciously humming it.

Tyga does his best to fit in, even mimicking the chorus in the intro to his verse, but Ally’s mesmerizing la la las outshine him.

The video is lewk after lewk after lewk. Also, is that a bit of “Work *****” choreo I see?
