Alanis Morissette Releases New Song From Jagged Little Pill: "Superstar Wonderful Weirdos"

This year marks 20 years since Morissette released “Jagged Little Pill.”

To celebrate, the “You Oughta Know” singer is sharing a never-before-heard track titled “Superstar Wonderful Weirdos” from that era she left on the cutting room floor for two decades.

The harmonica solos remind us a bit of “Hand In My Pocket,” and is every little bit of JLP goodness we adored as a kid growing up in the ’90.

“Having been labeled many things — weird, intense, intimidating, scary, psychobabbler, and my favorite: ‘too much,’ I wanted to write a song about having all these qualities within me to contend with, in a world that loves to reduce and categorize,” Morissette tells Billboard.

Morissette will release the Jagged Little Pill: Collector’s Edition which features remastered audio of the original album, 10 unreleased demos, an unreleased concert from 1995, and Jagged Little Pill Acoustic from 2005 on Oct. 30.
