Zedd has unveiled promotional track "Addicted to a Memory" in preparation for the release of his second LP, 'True Colors'.
As Zedd's 'True Colors' became available for preorder this morning, fans were treated to an instant gratuity by way of "Addicted to a Memory" featuring fellow Interscope up-and-comers Bahari.
"Addicted to a Memory" is the opening track from the record, and after listening to it, you can see why. Featuring plenty of Zedd's signature non-linear, jumping production and some adept vocals from girl-group Bahari, it feels like a far stronger effort than his collab with current girlfriend Selena Gomez.
As with all buzz tracks, it's unlikely to be serviced as a single although if the song picks up steam perhaps there's a chance that it'll be sent to radio. It seems like it could gather more interest than "I Want You To Know" which failed to make any meaningful impact when it was released in February.
Incidentally, if you haven't heard of them, use this as an opportunity to check out Bahari. Their debut single "Wild Ones" is a magical slice of acoustic folk-pop and they're certainly an act to keep your eye on.
