Zayn Malik threw shade at ex Perrie Edwards on Sunday after Re-Tweeting a poll asking fans to choose between Fifth Harmony and Little Mix, but it's not over. In fact, it appears it just begun, because today (Aug. 17), Malik remains pressed. He Re-Tweeted another Tweet, this time one that highlights quotes from Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus' point of view on distributing music (it should be noted Little Mix performed with Taylor Swift on Sunday).
He followed it up saying, "G statement."
Swift's boyfriend and one of music's biggest producers/DJs, Calvin Harris, stepped in to defend his new romantic. He blasted Malik for his limited point of view on streaming services and music purchasing, something that helped Malik reach super stardom with One Direction. Harris fired off a message that's since deleted, saying "You've made your money? Cool... fuck the 99% of musicians who depend on these services to survive right? Yeah fuck em."
The Tweets that remain say, "If u don't get what it means when a successful artist uses their celebrity to benefit every other musician and songwriter in the industry... ...stay out my fuckin mentions pls. Meaning...stay out of things you don't understand."

Malik responded with a handful of Tweets, calling Harris a "dickhead" and old.
Oh and I write my own shit too dickhead— zayn (@zaynmalik) August 17, 2015
Harris responded attempting to make nice nice, but too little too late.
Sigh. Malik recently had a very public falling out with producer Naughty Boy, and now Harris. If he isn't careful, he'll alienate everyone in music and no one will want to help the former One Directioner with his new endeavors as a solo artist. Harris is head over heels in love with Swift, so we imagine that fueled his initial rant, but Malik's name-calling is uncalled for.
