Years & Years are back in the studio.
This month marks just two years since the British trio released their UK #1 single "King" taken from their incredible debut LP "Communion" but it seems they're already keen to move on.
Olly, Emre and Mikey have all made cryptic posts over the past few days that led fans to believe they were back together after post-tour time off and they have now confirmed the fans were right.
They shared a video of lead singer Olly Alexander playing the piano in a (very remote) country house where they've set up a studio, and then uploaded a picture of them relaxing in a hot tub. As we all do during work!
"Communion" spawned eight singles - including the "Desire" remix featuring Tove Lo - and they released a new song "Meteorite" last September for the Bridget Jones' Baby soundtrack, so the trio haven't had much time off.
However, we're not complaining! "Communion" is one of my favorite pop LPs of recent years and 2017 could use some more of Years & Years' magic.
