Sevyn Streeter and Gucci Mane take it too far in their new Max Max-inspired music video for "Prolly."
Sevyn Streeter (real name Amber Denise Streeter) dropped the first clip from her forthcoming album Girl Interrupted, an unapologetic visual that represents liberation found through recent life-changing experiences.
"The theme of this album comes from me taking accountability and responsibilities for the mistakes and successes in my life...My choices," Streeter tells The Fader. "Me along the journey, learning lessons about the decisions I've made."
The video sees Streeter strutting along a metal bridge while scantily-clad gentlemen bare their abs amidst a cloud of smoke and fire. Gucci Mane's cameo appears as futuristic hazy hologram.
She says of the video: "Though I'm definitely a fan of Mad Max, I honestly can't take responsibility for this creative vision," she tells . "I gotta hand it to my director Mike Ho! He turned the feeling and vibes I had while writing "Prolly" into reality! I knew the song was unapologetic, raw and edgy and he created a treatment/environment that brought it to life!"
Aside from Gucci Mane, Girl Interrupted boasts collaborations from Dej Loaf, Ty Dolla $, August Alsina, Dave East and "a few more I'll keep tucked away for now."
