Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint" might take the number one spot next week.
Or it might take the number two position behind Taylor Swift. Hits Daily Double predicts she'll sell 170-180K, a "meh" (that's the technical term) accomplishment considering her last record broke 250K opening week.
These numbers may get adjusted (they won't) no thanks to flop Target employees. They didn't know Nicki's album had a Monday release (usually albums debut on a Tuesday), failing to stock their shelves with the "Only" singer's latest compilation. Nicki shockingly kept her composure, asking her interns to Tweet a PC message to fans about the hoopla:
Ok. Update. Some employees at Target were not notified of the album being a Monday release. They're used to putting them out on Tuesday
Get your ass out and buy Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint," because Taylor Swift already had her moment, like... four weeks in a row, plus Nicki's album comes with a racy calendar that'll surely remind you what day it is.
Iggy Azalea sitting back and laughing TBH.
