Troye Sivan Performs “Youth” On James Corden

Troye Sivan celebrated “Youth” cracking the Top 25 in the U.S. by… eating sushi.

Sivan gave his first-ever televised sit-down to James Corden on The Late Late Show Monday night, chatting about his recent success breaking into mainstream music, remaining relatively anonymous back home in Perth (“It’s so awesome. No one cares at all,” Troye explained. “I’ve have the same friends I’ve had since I was like two, and we literally, we just chill. It’s the best thing ever.”) and recounted the story of helping a young fan come out of the closet. “The crowd went absolutely ballistic,” he said, “and then I got off stage and I saw this video of Kelly and her mom meeting after the show, because I guess her mom was standing in the back, and it’s like — it’s an experience. You’ve got to watch it. It’s so, so, so sweet.” Watch below:
