Tove Lo gets lit with Wiz Khalifa.

On “Influence,” Tove Lo isn’t trying to be anything she’s not. Like many of the Swedish singer’s past songs, Tove Lo is just having a little fun. On her latest Lady Wood cut (out October 26), the pop star warns us not to believe a thing she says because… she’s f—ed up.

“You know I’m under the influence / so don’t trust any word I say,” she sings over a mid-tempo tribal beat. “It’s a blur but I want my way.”

Wiz Khalifa offers a lightning fast verse on “Influence,” but it works. Tove Lo’s demeanor is so cool throughout the track that Khalifa’s furious feature is a needed pick-me-up.
