Buckle up, because Tinashe is gearing up to finally release her new record Joyride this October.

Tinashe will drop a Baywatch-inspired music video for her new single “SuperLove” on Friday, and there’s plenty more to follow

“It’s coming in October, so very soon,” the pop star tells Rap-Up of the album, which sees production from Metro Boomin, Boi-1da, Ritz Reynolds, Joel Compass, The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, who produced three songs including her new single “Superlove.”

Though Tinashe is enlisting a superstar team of recording scientists, the LP won’t include too many features.

“As of right now, I’m kind of not really leaning towards more feature-heavy. I’m leaning more towards not going that route, but it’s still a possibility.”

One collaboration that will make the cut is “Party Favors” featuring Young Thug, which she recorded in 2015.

“The majority of the album was recorded even before 2016. It was mostly recorded in 2015. The heart of the album still remains the same and then I’m still just adding little tidbits, little touches, anything that inspires me throughout this year.”

As for that beach-themed video mentioned earlier? Tinashe says it was “really important to be hands on in the creative process for everything, from the visuals to the music.”

She added: “I think visuals are a great part, as an artist, to be able to showcase, especially my dance ability because I’ve been dancing my whole life. I’m excited to have that be a part of the video.”

Fans of the singer have anxiously awaited this new record for quite some time, experiencing a few highs and lows along the way. The biggest pit? Canceling her tour. “Obviously you feel bad for letting anyone down, so pushing back any part of the tour was really hard for me,” she explained. “I feel like it was honestly the right thing to do. I was able to create some really amazing stuff in the last couple months for the album. Now I think it’s in an amazing place.”
