‘The Original Doll’ Album Information

Wikipedia.org recently set up a page called "The Original Doll" detailing Britney's 5th studio album release:

It was originally set for release in late spring or early summer of 2005 and was to include the first single, "Mona Lisa". However, Jive Records later released a statement saying the album would not be released until at least next year (2006). Spears also called into TRL US in early 2005 and mentioned that there would probably be no new album for this year, though she did say that she was working on a song for an upcoming show of some sort; this turned out to be the theme song "Chaotic" to her reality show Britney and Kevin: Chaotic.

According to a "The Fabulous Life of..." VH1 special about Spears and husband Kevin Federline, she has renewed her contract with Jive, marking a three-album deal for a reported $10.5 million.

A handful of new songs co-written by Spears were recently revealed on ASACP. They include:

"Mona Lisa"
"Take Off"
"Sippin' On"
"Money, Love, and Happiness"
"Ouch"
"Over To You Now"
