The Knocks made Taylor Swift's "Welcome To New York" listenable.
Replacing the jubilant synthy horns for a trancey club beat was a good start. They elevated her pitch, robotized other bits and threw in a bit of disco-funk to create something entirely off the 1989 brand, and it's just what the doctor ordered (and I'll write your name).
Last year, The Knocks teamed up with Matthew Koma on a song titled "I Wish (My Taylor Swift)," a tune honoring Swifty's hyper-famous persona ("she'd be a boss and so legit").
It's been waiting for you...
