Here's what you need to know about the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.
It was quite the night for artists like Taylor Swift (she won eight awards, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist and Top 200 Artist), Iggy Azalea who won three - as did Pharrell and a voiceless Sam Smith - and One Direction, Hozier, Jason Aldean, Enrique Iglesias and John Legend who snagged two a piece. There were performances, mushy moments (T Swift and Calvin Harris, what the) and awkward moments (the Jenner girls were booed). Without further adieu...
The highlights according to BreatheHeavy:
Britney Spears with Iggy Azalea - "Pretty Girls."
Britney and Iggy teleported from the MGM Grand to her Piece of Me stage inside Planet Hollywood to perform "Pretty Girls" together. Brit executed the video's choreography while her partner in crime spat a rap. Though the two did have a bit of forced chemistry together, it was still a solid performance - Britney's first televised performance in many years. There was some controversy amongst Britney's fans that she pre-taped the performance. What do YOU think? Watch below and let us know in Exhale.
Mariah Carey - "Vision of Love" & "Infinity"
Mariah celebrates the launch of her #1 To Infinity residency with a performance of the song plus her 1990 debut single. The high note in there was a big hit, but we can't help but wonder if she had a little assistance behind-the-scenes. Watch here:
Sam Smith's acceptance speech
Smith accepted the award for Tom Male Artist via video due to his recent vocal cord surgery.
“First, thank you Billboard for this incredible honour,” Smith wrote on cue cards. “Secondly, thank you to my amazing fans. It’s time like this that I realize how lucky I am to have you in my life. Can’t wait to get this surgery out of the way so I can sing my ass off for you again. And lastly, seeing as you guys are in Vegas. Taylor…put a 100 on black for me. Nicki…Oh…My…God..Look at her bum. Ed [Sheeran]…I’ve organized a special dance for you at…Chippendale’s.”
Nick Jonas - "Jealous"
The youngest Jonas brother used a hi-tech visual set to accompany his rocking performance. Swooooon.
