R&B artist Teyana Taylor lights up Reebok with her new "Free Your Style" ad.
You probably recognize Teyana's heavenly figure from Kanye West's "Fade" music video, but if not she's one to watch. The 26-year-old stars in Reebok's new advertisement for the launch of their Freestyle sneaker (commonly known as the 5411’s), which was originally developed in 1982 and gained fame as the first athletic sneaker designed for women’s fitness.
In the new clip, Teyana slithers around in a red and black striped leotard and a pair of the "Triple Red" refreshed kicks soundtracked to Stella Mwangi's "Work."
“Reebok has always been a brand that’s been very special to my heart ever since I was young," Teyana says in a statement. "Freestyles were all I wanted to wear growing up so it feels like everything’s come full circle with this partnership. The 5411’s really opened the door for creativity in women’s fashion, it gave permission for sneakers to be feminine. I’m honored to be the face of the Freestyle campaign for everything it stood for yesterday and what it still represents today."
