Taylor Swift confirms the fifth single from 1989 is "Wildest Dreams."
While Taylor continues her wildly successful "1989" world tour, she revealed the next installment from her unstoppable record. The 25-year-old announced her new single via an #IHeartMedia video early Wednesday morning, then jumped on Twitter to confirm!
Just wanted to let you know that the next single from 1989 will be........... Wildest Dreams.

"Wildest Dreams" has some big shoes to fill, considering Swift's recent singles like "Blank Space" topped the Billboard Hot 100 for weeks on end, then debuted the star-studded "Bad Blood" music video which catapulted the song to No. 1 and broke Vevo's record for most views in 24 hours.
Swift will most likely release the song via Apple Music in the coming days, her recent ally since writing the billion dollar company a note about compensating artists during their three month trial period. She tells Vanity Fair in the current issue:
“I wrote the letter at around four A.M.,” Swift says. “The contracts had just gone out to my friends, and one of them sent me a screenshot of one of them. I read the term ‘zero percent compensation to rights holders.’ Sometimes I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and I’ll write a song and I can’t sleep until I finish it, and it was like that with the letter.”
She worried “people would say, ‘Why won’t she shut up about this?’. . . My fears were that I would be looked at as someone who just whines and rants about this thing that no one else is really ranting about.”
Looks like she'll have the last laugh - even in her wildest dreams.
