Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” Video Breaks Adele’s Vevo Record

We made her do it.

Taylor Swift's absurdly brilliant Joseph Kahn-directed new music video for “Look What You Made Me Do” has snatched Adele's Vevo crown.

In 2015, Taylor’s “Bad Blood” video broke the record for most views within 24 hours with 20.1 million, but Adele destroyed that when she released “Hello.” That racked up 27.7 million, but the tables have turned once again.

Taylor’s latest visual currently has 30.1 million views in less than a day – there’s still several hours left to go.

“YOU MOFOS BROKE THE VEVO RECORD. WITH 6 HOURS TO GO. Wut,” Kahn wrote on Twitter.

It’s one of several records Taylor broke with her new Reputation tune. “LWYMMD” also broke Spotify’s first-day streams record with more than 8 million spins, and the lyric video for the track was the most-viewed lyric video on YouTube in 24 hours ever with 19 million plays.

There's so much replay value with the video, no wonder the numbers are piling up. Swift definitely had the last laugh.
