Taylor Swift: Katy Who?

We think about the feud between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry more than Taylor Swift and Katy Perry do.

There's no sense in reiterating their entire debacle; it's Monday morning and my week doesn't need the bad vibes, but also you're well aware of the lengthy dramatical saga between the two pop stars.

Things take another turn for the juicy when Andy Cohen opened up about some of the salacious material featured in his new book, Superficial: More Adventures from the Andy Cohen Diaries, out Tuesday.

Cohen told ET he's worried Hollywood could give him the cold shoulder after airing some of their dirty laundry.

"People are going to be pissed, because I'm really revealing a lot," he said. "I'm moving the goal post, and I just feel like if I'm going to do it again, it has to be bigger and better and dishier."

One of those tidbits includes an encounter with Taylor Swift where he mentioned Katy Perry during the Met Ball this year. According to Cohen, Swift was searching for a spot near the bar to watch Lady Gaga's performance when the Watch What Happens Live host saw an unoccupied area around Perry.

"Why I felt I needed to get involved I will never know (maybe I was auditioning for her squad?) but I innocently said exactly the wrong thing to her, which was, 'Your friend Katy is sitting in the corner and there's plenty of room around her,'" he recalls.

Cohen says Swift then asked, "Katy who?"

"I said, 'Perry,' at which point she clearly let me know that she's the exact opposite of her friend," he continues. Cohen says he then tried to make light of his misstep, which led Swift to instruct him not to mention this on his show.

"She didn't threaten me about putting it in my book, so here we are."

Swift is lawyering up as we speak.
