This is what inspiration looks like.
Pentatonix members Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi needed an outlet to sing along to actual music, so they created a second group named Superfruit. Their shenanigans have already resulted in a Mario World-inspired video for their sunny, percussive bop titled "Bad 4 Us," and literally stopped traffic in their vid for "Sweet Life." Dissatisfied with taking over the acapella scene, the duo teamed up together again, this time for a La La Land medley featuring their PTX bandmate, Kirstin Maldonado.
What better way to celebrate the film's massive success, which was just nominated for 14 Oscars (tying the Titanic's record), then with an impromptu dance party at home (it was actually filmed recorded/filmed at Endless Noise Studios)?
"WE ARE OBSESSED WITH LA LA LAND WE JUST HAD TO DO A MEDLEY OF IT!," they wrote on YouTube. "HOPE Y'ALL ENJOY IT!!"
