Brandon Flowers’ entire album, “The Desired Effect” is available to stream right this desired moment.
We haven’t had time to review Flowers’ entire latest LP, but if the rest of the tracklist resembles his previous releases thus far we’re in not only for Flowers’ best musical effort, but one of the best records of 2015.
So far, we’ve heard some brilliant, ’80s-inspired synthy magical production from The Killers’ frontman, including his lead single “Can’t Deny My Love,” followed by “Still Want You”, “Lonely Town” and “I Can Change” and just yesterday the premiere of “Never Get You Right.”
“It wasn’t always easy,” Flowers says of working with “Can’t Deny My Love” producer Ariel Rechtshaid in a new interview to Yahoo. “He’s pretty in-demand so it was difficult for me to get him to Las Vegas and for me to get away from my family and go to LA. So we did it in increments. We didn’t always see eye to eye but I think some of the contention ended up making the album better than if it had been too easy.”
Fortunately, the two ended up agreeing on the final cut of his lead single and others heard on “The Desired Effect,” which you can stream above in full before its official release on May 18 (pre-order on iTunes here).
