Blondie are back to their best with Charli XCX, Sia and Dev Hynes.
Blondie are back.
Blondie - one of America's most legendary rock bands - released their eleventh studio album "Pollinator" today, and it's even more "Fun" than the funky lead single gave away.
The band - fronted by Debbie Harry - have worked with some of today's biggest talents for the new material, including Sia ("Best Day Ever"), Dev Hynes and pop's "Number 1 Angel" Charli XCX, and the results are worth it.
The XCX-penned "Gravity" is one of the album's standouts, meanwhile the Joan Jett duet "Doom Or Destiny" is Blondie at their best.
Overall, it's a drum-heavy collection of catchy hooks and synth-rock that places them in amongst their younger contemporaries to prove they can still do it best.
