Seconds of a new Miley Cyrus song landed online.
Miley’s hard at work on her next studio album following the release of “Bangerz,” and we’re beginning to get an idea of the sound she’s developing for it. Last month, Miley performed a new song titled “Tiger Dreams” at Adult Swim’s Upfront party, a song that focuses its attention on the loud vocals rather than the distracting production. It appears she’s continuing that theme as heard in this new 6-second clip for a song apparently titled “Nightmare.”
In the snippet, Miley sings: “I’m still tryin’ to wake up from this…” we assume the next word is “nightmare.”

In addition to recording her new album, Miley’s tirelessly promoting her new Happy Hippie Foundation through a series of performances dubbed the Backyard Sessions. Previously, Miley shared the mic with Joan Jett for their rendition of “Different,” then the “We Can’t Stop” singer sang backup during her session with Laura Jane Grace and drummer Atom Willard of Against Me! who covered an acoustic version of the band’s “True Trans Soul Rebel” followed by a duet with Ariana Grande on an inflatable couch covering Crowded House’s mega-hit “Don’t Dream It’s Over.”
