Sky Ferreira promises her new album 'Masochism' dives into aggressive electronica.
We imagine it sounds something like her new feature on Primal Scream's latest effort, "Where The Light Gets In." Ferreira and Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie trade verses about battling between sin and peace. They fight for the spotlight over a melodious '80s-vibe production where you half expect to look out the window and see David Hasselhoff running by.
“The reason I like working with them is because there’s absolutely no pressure," Ferreira tells Billboard of the collaboration. "It’s nice to walk in somewhere and they’re not like, ‘Okay, your label is harassing me about this and that.’ I set it up without anyone else involved, so we just sit and write in a room and there’s no pressure.”
