I think I'd have a heart attack.
The Chainsmokers proved they have the artillery to shoot to No. 1 and stay there, as they did for most of 2016. They stuck to a recipe that works for them: moody electro production backed by a female musician, which included Rozes, Emily Warren, Daya, Phoebe Ryan & Halsey, and according to a morsel of evidence found on Twitter, they might enlist Demi Lovato next.
The duo, made up of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, have a combined "like" count of 32.4K on Twitter, and one of those includes a Tweet from a fan speculating whether their new collaboration features the "Confident" singer.
TCS posted they had "Some big announcements coming soon," and when a Lovatic suggested it was a song with Demi, they hit that like button. Sure, they could be approving of the idea, or were just in a good mood when stumbling upon it, but this is the Internet and it's more fun to guess.

It makes sense. Demi is currently recording her next studio album, which could feature a Diane Warren-penned ballad. “[I'm] in the studio right now,” Demi told telling Extra back in November: "I don’t know when I’ll release it — I’ll release it when it’s ready.”
