Shakira Gives A Thumbs Up For New Song “When A Woman”

Shakira's eleventh studio album is coming slowly but surely.

The Colombian songstress got the ball rolling when she released her Maluma-assisted track "Chantaje" last year (and a salsa version for her birthday). She also teamed up with Carlos Vives on "La Bicicleta" and with Prince Royce on "Deja Vu," but she has since snuck back into the recording studio to continue work.

While she does promise the album will be out "very soon," nothing is set in stone. That makes this piece of news all the more intriguing. Shakira hopped onto Twitter to let fans know she finished recording a song titled "When A Woman" and it inspired her to jam out to The Lady of Rage’s 1994 hip-hop hit “Afro Puffs.”

If you're keeping tabs, Shakira's new LP is jam-packed with star studded talent. She linked up with MAGIC!, has a song with Sean Paul produced by David Guetta titled "Temple" and possibly one with Calvin Harris. Iggy Azalea's name was thrown in the mix at one point as well.
