Selena Gomez is heading to No. 1 for a second time.
We're only a few days out from Gomez's album launch last Friday (Oct. 9), but it appears the 23-year-old is on track to receive her second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 (Stars Dance claimed the top spot in 2013 with 97,000 copies sold in its first week).
Industry forecasters predict Gomez may move upwards of 110,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Oct. 15. The Game's new album, The Documentary 2, should move around 90,000 units, leaving a huge gap for Revival to safely take the top position.
Gomez's massive online following and furious promotional schedule certainly helped. Surrounding the release, Gomez appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, performed on the TODAY show, opened up to Billboard and announced a world tour beginning spring of 2016.
