UPDATE // JULY 28: Gomez is excited about her new material. She told fans before her performance of "Feel Me" at the Revival concert in Singapore:
"I'm getting ready to release another album. I can definitely say that now."
EARLIER // JUNE 24:
Selena Gomez is currently touring her latest album Revival, but she already has her sights set on the follow-up.
The "Hands To Myself" singer admitted earlier this year she was back in the recording studio "with everybody that I love," adding she was "more inspired than ever,” and one of the people she adores is producer Ross Golan. Golan is responsible for helping some of the biggest stars in music create chart toppers. In the past, Golan collaborated with Gomez on “Same Old Love,” as well as Justin Bieber on “Take You,” Nicki Minaj (“Marilyn Monroe”), One Direction (“If I Could Fly”), Maroon 5 (“Unkiss Me”), Demi Lovato (“Hold Up”), Charlie Puth, Prince Royce and most recently Ariana Grande on “Dangerous Woman."
The hard work is paying off. Gomez Tweeted fans on Friday (June 24) her Revival followup is nearly complete. "After a few weeks in the studio bus safe to say," Gomez said, "we are VERY close to album #2 #SG2"

Gomez is enlisting many of the collaborators off her last No. 1 album. “I’m already getting back in the studio with everybody that I love and I’ve been more inspired than ever,” she previously said.
Like her idol Britney Spears, the Sober singer also wants to emulate a Weeknd vibe on the upcoming record, citing him, Pharrell and M.I.A. for who she admires and wants to work with.
“I don’t know. I don’t have anything in mind at the moment," she said a few weeks ago. "So, we’ll figure it out.”
Looks like she did!
Speaking of Gomez... DJ River Tiber gave “Kill Em With Kindness” a summery remix. Listen to that below:
