Selena Gomez shared a clip of her singing a song off her upcoming record.
We don't know much about Selena's next record aside from her recent slow burner with "Good For You," so this glimpse of her singing, or whatever she's doing, is an exciting sneak peek of what we can expect from the 22-year-old. The haunting 15-second clip shows off Gomez's moody vocals, a darker side fans can look forward to hearing throughout the rest of the record.
“For this record I wanted to find my sweet spot, if you will,” Gomez told Elvis Duran on his breakfast show. “I know that maybe vocally I wouldn’t be the greatest singer in the world, but I know my strengths now. I know that I can translate emotion and heart, and I’ve written more than I’ve ever written on any album for this record. I have a lot to prove, but I think, for instance, this song is totally in my register. It’s smoky and fun and sexy.”
She adds, “I have a lot to prove, but I think, for instance, this song is totally in my register. It’s smoky and fun and sexy,” she smiled.
