As the entertainment industry reels from Christina Grimmie's murder, Selena Gomez tributes her friend.
During her Revival Tour concert in Miami, the 23-year-old took a moment to talk about the relationship between herself and Grimmie, who supported her on tour back in 2011.
"I think it's not about a religion and it's not about good deeds. I think she just had faith and I don't really understand how this really happened, but I would like to dedicate this song to her."
Barely holding back tears, Gomez expressed heartbreak and confusion before dedicating the song 'Transfiguration' to the singer:
Gomez was almost unable to sing religious-themed song 'Nobody' after becoming overwhelmed by emotion:
Christina Grimmie proved to be a well known and respected figure in the industry she was steadily building her career within, with many celebrities pausing today to tribute her and reflect on their friendship with the 22-year-old:
#RIPChristina i can't believe it. Absolutely every last bit of my love. Such an inspiration to me and so many ❤️

I'm stunned and disgusted and heartbroken that we lost that sweet little girl... Keeping @TheRealGrimmie family in my heart and mind.
