Selena Gomez premiered a short film for her new song "Bad Liar."
Gomez has teased in a plethora of recent interviews that her latest release sounds like nothing she’s ever put forth, and the next string of singles will be unlike anything we've heard before.
The fist visual she dropped for "Bad Liar" was a three and a half minute clip of the pop star slithering around in lingerie – that felt familiar. And the “Bad Liar” video 2.0 she just released? It’s taking us back to her ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ days. We haven't been here in a while.
In the clip, directed by Jesse Peretz (Girls, Orange Is the New Black), Gomez plays several different characters inside entangled in a love triangle – a perky teen student, a male professor, a suburban soccer mom with serious Farrah Fawcett hair and an unhappy wife.
Oh, and stick around until the very end – there's something Gomez teases with the title "FETISH." So that's what she means when she says every song is wildly different.
