Both artists are first-time performers on the iconic Saturday Night Live stage.

Saturday Night Live revealed the lineup for their first two shows in January, with Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Girls actor Adam Driver kicking off the second half of the season as host on January 16th. He will be joined by country singer Chris Stapleton.

Chris had quite an impressive 2015, that included a much-talked about performance with Justin Timberlake at the CMAs and his debut album Traveller reaching Number 1 on the Billboard 200. 2016 is also shaping up to be a big year for the country singer: in addition to performing on SNL, he’s also nominated for 4 Grammys, including Album of the Year.

UFC champion Ronda Rousey will take over hosting duties the following week (January 23rd) alongside musical guest Selena Gomez. The “Hands to Myself” singer, who is understandably excited to be performing on the SNL stage for the first time, tweeted out “Sooo I’m performing on @nbcsnl on 1.23!! What is life?? I couldn’t be more excited. GUYS.. SNL!!”.
