Robin Thicke is put back together.
This is the Robin Thicke we missed. In 2014, the “Get Her Back” singer put forth an apology album for ex Paula Patton, groveling through 14 songs about how sorry he was and is a changed man yadda yadda. He quickly realized people don’t feel sorry for cheaters and aren’t buying it, literally, then disappeared from the music scene for nearly a year. All that changed in 2015 when Thicke dropped “I Don’t Like It, I Love It” with Flo Rida and Verdine White – his catchy reboot of “Blurred Lines” that’s steadily climbing the charts. Now, Thicke swoops in with a funky, dance-floor ready track titled “Back Together” featuring Nicki Minaj, and we must say it’s slick.
Amidst reports he’s engaged to his 20-year-old girlfriend, Thicke took the opportunity to share his new song with fans and clarify a thing or two.
