We’re not entirely sure how to calculate Rihanna’s success with ANTi.
We needn’t remind you once again about ANTi‘s leak, subsequent giveaway, it’s controversial platinum certification from the RIAA and all the glorious finger pointing from TIDAL and Universal about who’s to blame for the premature debut. All of the mess resulted in Rihanna moving 125K albums in her opening week, even after the million free downloads from Samsung. If we include sales + streaming, ANTi‘s number sits at 172K. There was enough momentum to bump Adele’s 25 to No. 2 (with 93K), according to Hits Daily Double.
Yes, Rihanna’s new album is officially No. 1 after debuting at No. 27 last week.
The physical version of the album lands in stores today.

Sia also makes a splash on the charts. Her new record, This Is Acting, sold 73K, placing her at No. 4. Not bad for a collection of rejected songs from artists! Rounding out the Top 5 is Kevin Gates’ Islah at No. 3 and Charlie Puth’s Nine Track Mind at No. 5.
