Rihanna continues world domination through endorsements.
Rihanna says her focus is on releasing her highly-anticipated new record named ANTi, and this latest deal is a clear indication. She’s aligned herself with major brands like Puma‘s sports collection, her “Murder Rih Wrote” sock line and Dior.
She can now add Samsung to the list.
Rihanna reportedly signed a $25 million deal with electronics giant who will sponsor her upcoming album and tour.
A source tells The NY Post, “hammering out the details took longer than expected in part because Rihanna made some last-minute tweaks to the album.”
Rihanna’s manager, Jay Brown, and Jay Z key were players in the deal. Jay was spotted at the Samsung offices in New York earlier this month, prompting some to assume he was working out an exit to TIDAL, but insiders claim Rihanna’s deal was his focus.
They also claim Rihanna is releasing the album in the next few weeks. If her upcoming promo schedule is any indication, it’s true. She is set to perform at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show on Nov. 10 and will play a “big part” in a high budget 3D sci-fi film “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.”
However, with Adele’s impending takeover, Rihanna just might wait until 2016 (our guess).
