Sia says she recently met with Rihanna because she's still looking for songs for the album.
It was thought the "Bitch Better Have My Money" singer would drop her album via TIDAL last month before a global-release the following week, but industry insiders warned her album would sell poorly with that tactic. Not to mention Adele's gargantuan weekly album sales... it's safe to say Riri's waiting until 2016 to produce. That gives her the time she apparently needs to record more songs. Despite an expensive marketing campaign underway, the album is still a work in progress, at least according to Sia. If anyone can help, it's her... she's responsible for Rihanna's massive "Diamonds" track and is prepared to hand over another hit.
"She came over to my house for the first time the other night," Sia said in a new interview. "I had never really met her before. I used to just send her the tracks. And so I had met her very briefly at SNL when she sung ‘Diamonds.’ She came over and listened to half of 25 songs I played her because she’s still looking for songs for her new album. She was there clearly to listen to songs and see if there was anything she that was in to. It was a business meeting, for sure. She took four songs, but I don’t know if they’ll end up on the record, I’m pretty sure I have one (placement) on the new album. But I don’t know if I’ll have more than that.”
In other news... this photo also surfaced over the weekend, and fans believe it's a behind-the-scenes shot of their fav at a photoshoot for her sock line, Murder Rih Wrote. Because... what's ANTi?
