Another month, another Rihanna cover.
Rihanna switches from fashion designer to model on the stunning cover of CR Fashion Book's ninth issue, just one day after launching her debut Puma collection - Puma by Fenty - in NYC.
The fashion industry empress leads the issue dedicated to the French Queen, seen smoking a blunt while reimagined as Antoinette in a tight baby-pink corset on the cover, shot by Terry Richardson.
Carine Roitfeld, the magazine's editor-in-chief, handpicked the "ANTI" singer due to her similarities with the historic figure, saying:
"The magazine is crafted around key elements of Marie Antoinette's life — her exuberant sense of fashion, her elaborate hairdos, her intense sexuality — almost like a modern biography through fashion imagery. And on the cover is Rihanna, who shares with Marie Antoinette an air of royalty that I, and the world it seems, find intoxicating."
With every photo shoot that she does we see her "slay" and praise her otherworldly beauty, and this one is no different.
CR Fashion Book's ninth issue will hit newsstands September 15, and Rihanna's first Puma collection is available online now.
