Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha Get Wet “In The Name Of Love” Video

EARLIER // JULY 28: The full song is available to stream below:

Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha’s new song premieres Friday.

But it’s not the first time we’ve heard it. Garrix premiered the song during his set at the Ultra Music Festival Miami earlier this year, but the studio version will hit this Friday as part of Garrix’s recent deal with Sony.

Rexha’s edgy vocals are backed by muted guitars chords in the intro, soaring vocal harmonies soon joining for the refrain. The drop delivers a bombastic hip-hop style beat, driven by beefy kicks, huge synth chords and pitch-shifting vocal cut-ups.

In a new press release, the song is described as “a proper song that’s been sculpted into a floor-ready bomb and carries all the emotion and impact that great pop music should always have.”

Garrix said: “I’m super excited to be working with such a hungry and passionate team at Sony Music Entertainment. Their forward thinking approach to streaming and incredible roster of talented artists combined with their passion and understanding for my vision of the future of my music made this a no brainer”.

We’ll have to wait and see until the real deal debuts on Friday (July 29). Listen to the live-preview for now:

No word whether the song will make Rexha’s new album, A.Y.F, which hopefully debuts some time soon. “Every time you say a date, it changes,” she said earlier this year.
