Koma wrote several standout tracks on Duff's 'Breathe In. Breathe Out.'
Koma is responsible for several flawless tracks off Duff's 2015 LP Breathe In. Breathe Out., including the album title track, "Arms Around a Memory" and "Confetti." He recently dropped a pop gem of his own titled "Kisses Back," an "accurate introduction to the most personal album I've ever written," he previously told BreatheHeavy.com of his forthcoming material.
The "Sparks" singer graces the cover of the February issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, in which she opens up about keeping her last relationship with her personal trainer Jason Walsh a secret for five months before making it public.
"People don't need to know my business until I really know my business," she said. "We were seeing each other for a while. People don't know the ins and outs of everything," she added. "It was definitely my first more serious relationship since my ex-husband.'
That's when she braved public opinion and revealed she was taken by posting a pic on Instagram. "I was like, “F*** it. He's my boyfriend.”’
She added: "I've never been a good dater... I meet, like, one person a year that I'm maybe attracted to. I never want to be that girl who's desperate to find a mate."
In an interview with Koma in 2015, we asked the hitmaker if it bothered him Duff abruptly stopped all promotion of Breathe.
"No! Because look, at the end of the day artists are artists for a reason, because it's part of their personality to follow their intuition," he said. "That's their right to be in a creative state to deliver a sincere performance. In her case, she's someone who wears many hats. She's an actress, and she's a writer, and a singer and a performer and all these different things. I think whatever it is that she's feeling in her gut that is the lane she needs to pursue. I can't speak if she is or isn't promoting the record. I know she focuses on a lot of things she's really passionate about. She does them all really well... I'm happy for her... she's pursuing the things she's pursuing and I'm glad we got to make some rad music together. I love "Breathe In. Breathe Out." I think it sounds rad."
Let's hope their love translates in the recording studio, too!
