P!nk Says She And Christina Aguilera Have Made Amends

P!nk <3s Xtina.

Once upon a time P!nk and Christina Aguilera had drama together. Two dueling divas? Never! But it's true. It stems from the time they collaborated on "Lady Marmalade" together. P!nk reportedly said Xtina was condescending and cold during recording sessions of the track. She also felt slighted after label execs pushed to give the "Dirrty" singer the best singing parts of the track.

That was more than 15 years ago, and as people do... P!nk has grown up. Last year, she commented on the fizzled feud. “I love when you’re around long enough to have a full circle moment and that was a full circle moment for me because in all honesty, I’m a fan of hers,” she said. “It was just a really refreshing, nice visit.”

That wasn't enough for the Internet to revive the storyline for a day following news P!nk will get the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs on Sunday, August 27 (it was rumored that Christina was going to be honored). Xtina fans WENT IN, and P!nk was not having it.

"Want to point out an awful new phenomenon of the last 10'years. We can no longer be happy for each other. I ❤️Xtina, we've made amends….," P!nk wrote on Twitter. She was responding to a fan's Tweet that mentioned she was just a backup singer because "Lady Marmalade" belonged to Christina. A kii.

"Music brings us all together," she continued. "The best part of music is- there's room for everyone to win at the same time. Don't be what's wrong w/da world. Let's be an example of inclusion and celebration. You don't have to like me at all, I'm ok with that. Just be a decent person." And something spicy for good measure: "And you're fuckin rip van winkle if you've never seen one of my videos."

You hear that, Internet? Focus on the Justin Bieber / Shawn Mendes fan fiction instead.
