P!nk Is Collaborating With Jack Antonoff On Forthcoming Studio Album

Pink's 1979 is coming.

She hasn't released a solo album since 2012's The Truth About Love, but all signs point to the pop star releasing a followup this year, and it could feature one or several collaborations with Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff.

You might not think you're familiar with Antonoff's work, but you are. The Grammy Award winning songwriter is responsible for crafting some really massive records, like Taylor Swift’s “Out Of The Woods” and her recent Zayn collab, Troye Sivan’s “Heaven,” Sia‘s “House On Fire,” Fifth Harmony’s “Dope” and Lorde’s new Melodrama tunes “Green Light” and “Liability.”

He is reportedly contributing to P!nk's seventh studio album as well. Variety reports the pop star was spotted in the crowd at his Bleachers show this week in L.A.. Their source also claims the two aren't just friends – they're crafting new music together that could land on her forthcoming LP.

It seems plausible that P!nk's new tunes will hit sooner than later. She has two huge gigs lined up – Summerfest and the UK's V Festival.

Pop music 2017 needs you, P!nk. Hurry.

Antonoff recently released a new song with Carly Rae Jepsen titled "Hate That You Know Me." Listen to that here.
