Piers Morgan Is An Idiot And Lady Gaga Is Calling Him On It

Piers Morgan is skeptical over Lady Gaga and Madonna's claims that they were raped, and Gaga won't stand for that.

He also isn't so sure she suffers from PTSD.

During her acceptance speech for Billboard's Woman of the Year Award, Madonna revealed she had been raped many years ago, and it impacted her life in a profound way. "I was held at gunpoint, raped on a rooftop with a knife digging into my throat and I had my apartment broken into and robbed so many times I stopped locking the door," Madonna said. She added: "As women, we have to start appreciating our own and each other's worth. Seek out strong women to befriend to align yourself with and to learn from, to collaborate with, to be inspired by and enlightened by. True solidarity amongst women is a power on its own."

Lady Gaga, who has remained an outspoken advocate for much of the last two years on the issue, has also detailed her harrowing sexual assault experience during her beginnings in the industry, and how that shaped her mental state for the years to follow.

Gaga thanked Madonna for her inspiring words: "@Madonna your speech at the Billboard Music Awards was inspiring. You're so brave & strong. Thanks for being that for us girls we need that."

Piers Morgan says he is “sceptical about Madonna & Lady Gaga's claims.”

Gaga won't stand for this, and is taking the opportunity to personally appear on Morgan's show and likely shine light on an instance where a man is denying women's truths. But before she could meet with Morgan, he hopped on Twitter to poke fun at the scenario.

"I rather admire @ladygaga for agreeing to an interview after my criticisms," he wrote. "Should be a fascinating debate. I'll press my meat suit."

Gaga responded: "@piersmorgan Let's do that & yes Mr. Morgan, I can handle u. Suprised you would question that. Was that the 1st question of our interview?"

She added: "@piersmorgan if you continue to shame me in the process of kindly agreeing to interview w/ u I'll happily do the interview with someone else"

She'll also defend her stance on PTSD. See the exchange below:

Morgan is a vile, pig-headed journalist with a very limited scope on real-world issues, so this should be an interesting match, to say the least.
