Panic! At The Disco’s ‘Death Of A Bachelor’ To Debut At No. 1

Panic! At The Disco will be victorious (champagne pouring over us).

Their new album Death of a Bachelor breathed much needed life into pop-rock upon its release last Friday, and their risk will pay off. The album is expected to top the Billboard 200 chart this week with 180,000 equivalent album units (160,000 in pure album sales), giving the band their first ever No. 1.

It should be noted 2013's Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! debuted at No. 2, 2011's Vices & Virtues landed at No. 7, 2008's Pretty.Odd. hit No. 2 and their debut album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out peaked at No. 13 (but it spent more weeks on the chart than any of their other albums).

Bachelor has already produced five hits on the Hot Rock Songs chart: “Hallelujah” (No. 3), “Victorious” (No. 7) and “Emperor’s New Clothes” (No. 5), “LA Devotee” (No. 15) and “Don’t Threaten Me With a Good Time” (No. 10).
