The Official Britney Fan Club Forum: Dear fellow fan mates and friends,{nl}I just got off the phone with a very reliable{nl}representative at Sony/BMG Music Services here in{nl}Canada.{nl}{nl}I am sure some of you may remember Nader from the fan{nl}club. He was a member in here till just last year.{nl}Nader is from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and he works{nl}for Sony / BMG Canada. He and I are also really good{nl}friends. Nader is with Talent relations at Sony / BMG{nl}and while he and I were gabbing on the phone he{nl}informed me of some really awesome news regarding our{nl}beloved Britney.

{nl}So, he gave me the green light in{nl}informing you guys about this information.{nl}{nl}Anyways, for the last couple weeks here I have been{nl}working my backside off trying to get to the bottom of{nl}all these rumors as too if and when there might be a{nl}new album of Britney’s coming out. The problem was my{nl}brain failed to register that I should contact Nader{nl}and talk to him about this. Well last night I finally{nl}realized who to talk to and boy was Nader the right{nl}person to talk to.{nl}{nl}So I got hold of Nader and He was able to put these{nl}album rumors to rest and give me the facts I was{nl}seeking. But first a little background here on how{nl}Sony got in this picture with BMG and Jive.{nl}{nl}What happened was Sony merged with BMG, then together{nl}they merged with Jive Records. Sony / BMG is the{nl}distributor for Jive. So what they do is they do all{nl}the marketing and making of the albums for artist with{nl}Jive, BMG, RCA, and several other record labels. The{nl}other awesome thing is that Sony / BMG is also in{nl}conjunction with Musictoday and helps them out in any{nl}way promoting artists that are with Sony / BMG.{nl}{nl}First, I want to put to rest the rumor about an album{nl}and DVD to be released by Britney in March.

{nl}Nader{nl}informed me that head office stated that there would{nl}NOT and I repeat, there will not be any new album or{nl}DVD coming out in March from Britney. The information{nl}on the Britney fan sites is 100% false and is nothing{nl}more then just rumor. Again this information comes{nl}directly from head management at Sony / BMG Music{nl}Services.{nl}{nl}What has been officially confirmed by Nader and by{nl}Sony / BMG is that in the forth quarter of this year{nl}(2006), that would be this fall; Jive Records in{nl}association with Sony / BMG Music Services will be{nl}releasing Britney Spears’ 8th album. Starting this{nl}early spring Britney will be hitting the studio to{nl}start recording her 8th album due out this fall. A{nl}name for the album has not yet been confirmed nor has{nl}a specific release date for the album. What has been{nl}confirmed is that this album will be the best album{nl}from Britney ever. The songs picked and confirmed for{nl}this album will give listeners the feeling like they{nl}have gone to a dance club. Sony is looking at making{nl}this album go double platinum and they are hoping that{nl}finally Britney will get that award of Album of the{nl}Year, something that Britney has yet to win.

{nl}What is{nl}also confirmed is that Sony / BMG will be pushing for{nl}a massive world tour from Britney shortly after the{nl}release of the album. No date has been set for when{nl}the world tour would start but the word coming from{nl}head office is that they would want the tour to start{nl}as soon as January of 2007. Nader also informed me that this Wednesday he will be{nl}meeting with his marketing manager who is in direct{nl}dealing with Britney and her management team and he{nl}will be getting further inside information and{nl}confirmation on dates, rumors, and anything relating{nl}Britney. So probably Thursday Nader will be contacting{nl}me and letting me know what he was able to find out.{nl}In fact, from now till the end of time, Nader will be{nl}keeping me in the loop on any future news regarding{nl}Britney. So hopefully very shortly, I will have a{nl}release date for us all on B’s new album.{nl}{nl}So again, one last time, Jive in conjunction with Sony{nl}/ BMG has officially confirmed that sometime this fall{nl}Britney will be releasing her 8th album, which looks{nl}to be her best album ever produced.{nl}{nl}Also confirmed for new album releases this year in{nl}2006: Pink (Official release date confirmed for March 28{nl}2006), Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Kelly{nl}Rowland, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, and OutKast.

Music Week: Sony BMG has unveiled the track listing for February’s Brits album release, suggesting some of the names that will be announced in the nominations for the awards next Tuesday.

The Dual Disc double album features a total 32 tracks from the likes of Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Britney Spears, Madonna, Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay, Razorlight, Akon, Mylo and Basement Jaxx.

The Brit Awards will be held at London’s Earls Court on February 15. The event will be hosted by Chris Evans, while Paul Weller will receive the Oustanding Contribution Award.
