It sounds equal parts Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars, a far cry from the teen pop of old. And while Zayn Malik thought he was getting all the attention this week - signing with RCA to make "real music" and working with Frank Ocean producer Malay, it was 1D who had the trick up their sleeve. "Drag Me Down" marks the boys' first record together as a foursome, and we must say, under the circumstances, it suits them quite nicely.

Preview and buy it on iTunes here!
The song was written by Louis Tomlinson, along with frequent collaborator Julian Bunetta.
Update: The track hit #1 on the US iTunes in less than an hour, and is currently #1 on iTunes in 34 countries. Whoa.
