It's a world-wide race for No. 1.
Justin Bieber is on track to sell up to 550,000 units of his new album Purpose (released Nov. 13) and become the No. 1 album of the week on the Billboard Hot 100. However, he might not see the same success in the U.K.
According to U.K. charts compiler the OCC (via Billboard), One Direction's Made In The A.M., which also dropped on the same day, pulled ahead of Bieber at the midway point this week by just 14,000 combined chart sales.
Don't count him out yet! On the U.K. singles chart, Bieber now has a slight advantage over Adele’s "Hello" (by 150 sales).
The race is on!
