EARLIER // NOVEMBER 15:
Nicki Minaj added flare to the No. 1 song in the country.
Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” just dethroned The Chainsmokers’ Halsey-assisted track “Closer” as the top charting song this week, and they’re rewarded with a freestyle from the rap queen.
Out of nowhere, Minaj dropped the remix onto SoundCloud, which keeps it eligible towards the Hot 100 since Billboard’s newly-adjusted rules to include the streaming platform, and it’s available to download for free.
“Link in bio BLACK BARBIES – why? Cuz 2 Lil black kids got the NUMBER 1 RECORD IN THE COUNTRY & I’m soooooo happy for Mike Will. Now ✅ that! *my baby Phaedra voice* 💟🎀 #SremmLife #MikeWillMadeIt Guwop on the nmbr one record in the country 🙌🏽”
The re-working alongside Mike Will Made-It is a real upgrade. In it, Minaj raps about El Chapo, PETA and the President-elect.
“Island girl, Donald Trump want me go home / Still pull up with my wrist looking like a snow cone.”
