Nick Jonas’s “Voodoo” Music Video Is A Ripoff Of Justin Bieber’s “Where Are Ü Now”

Nick Jonas’s “Voodoo” music video would be sick AF if… it hadn’t been done before.

Jonas is seen walking through a Mardi Gras parade on Bourbon Street in New Orleans’s historic French Quarter looking fly as hell in a leather jacket, puffin his chest. The youngest Jo bro is engulfed in a swarm of psychedelic graffiti and colors, but it all feels very familiar. Aside from the obvious Jack Ü / Justin Bieber “Where Are Ü Now” video lifts, it appears to take a few references from Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” music video, too. Shame, cause this could have been my favorite video off Last Year Was Complicated. Watch the official video below via Tidal, then check out a behind-the-scenes clip of Jonas filming the video back in April.
