Nick Jonas Opens Up About His Time In The Jonas Brothers In New Docu-Series

Nick Jonas' upcoming album Last Year Was Complicated drops in just over a week, so to prepare he's sharing a behind-the-scenes look at his life as a famous pop star.

Jonas is taking a page out of Mariah Carey's don't call it reality TV playbook by sharing a candid look at the creation process of his forthcoming record in a new series which premiered on Tidal.

The first bit is now available to stream on YouTube.

In the 12-minute clip, Jonas opens up about his time as a Jonas brother and the sour ending of the band's demise.

“There were probably some family issues that needed to be sorted out,” he says of his former family band. “At some point I need to be able to look at it with a positive angle. It does suck that my 13- to 20-year-old years come with a lot of regret, almost, in a way.”

Nick also opens up about getting therapy following his last breakup, the excitement of creating the "Close" music video and his fears about failing with the new record.
