Break out the banjo and kettle corn!
Nick Jonas dropped by On Air with Ryan Seacrest to premiere his new song "Levels" on Friday (Aug. 21), and opened up about his singledom, the nerves ahead of his VMA performance and working with Demi Lovato.
"She and I have written a bunch of songs that we've always said that at some point in time we're going to release," Jonas said. "Kind of a broken down side-project. Something a bit more, in the sort of folk zone, really about the vocals, just showcasing. The depth and the friendship and what that relates to... and the artistry."
He adds she'll possibly join Jonas on stage during one of the shows.
One thing that's pressing on Nick's mind in the moment is his upcoming VMA performance during their pre-show of his new single "Levels" out today.
“It’s so nerve-racking!” he said. “Especially since it’s uptempo and requires me digging deeper on the dance side of things. I have theater experience and have done that style of dance, but with my stuff, it’s more natural movements and I’m really trying to push myself a little bit to go more into the dance thing. So I’ve been working on that and busting that out for the show. It’s going to be interesting.”
PS - Nick confirms he and Kendall Jenner are NOT dating, because we know that kept you up at night.
