What Nick Carter really really wants? A joint tour with the Spice Girls!
A few months ago, the Internet started buzzing with the rumour of a possible Spice Girls reunion tour. Since then, there has been a lot of conflicting news. While some of the girls denied any talks of a reunion, some reports claimed that a reunion was happening sans Victoria Beckham. And most recently, Geri Halliwell renewed hope of a reunion when she revealed that there have indeed been talks amongst the girls to get together to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
Well, if Nick Carter gets his way, the Spice Girls will not only be reuniting, they will be joining the Backstreet Boys on tour! Every 90s kid lost their mind last week when Nick Carter revealed that the boys want to tour with the British girl group. He told E! News that he's been trying to make the tour happen, explaining: "I think this would be that last hurrah—the two big groups from the late '90s. Maybe do a world tour, stadiums, stuff like that and do a package together."
Nick made his pleas to the Spice Girls very public when he tweeted Mel. B earlier this week, saying "What do you say @OfficialMelB #backstreetboysspicegirlstour could be epic!"

Apparently Emma, Mel C, Mel B, Geri and Victoria need some more convincing. Nick appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show today and revealed to Ellen that all of his bandmates are on board with the idea, but that "it's really kind of up to the girls". He enlisted Ellen's help to make the tour a reality, who went as far as to make up BSB/SP tour t-shirts.
Looks like the ball's in your court ladies!
